Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and bugungisi. They are short on purpose. On this page, “we” means bugungisi. By using bugungisi you agree to these terms, to the House rules, and to the way we handle your data, set out in the Privacy policy.
Who can join
You must be 13 or older. bugungisi is invite-only: you join with an invite code from someone already inside, and each code works once. Once you are in, you can invite people you know.
Make it live
Every postcard is made live, in the app. No photos from your gallery, no filters. Your profile photo is the one exception: you can choose it from your photos.
Follow the House rules
The House rules are part of these terms. In short: be kind, keep it decent, and post only your own life. We do not tolerate offensive or harmful content, or members who bully or abuse others.
Use bugungisi only through the app. Do not use other tools to read or collect members’ details or photos, and do not try to get around the app’s limits or its security.
What you post
What you make stays yours: your postcards, captions, comments, messages and profile. To run bugungisi, we need your permission to store them, make smaller copies, and show them to the people your choices allow, as the Privacy policy describes. You give us that permission, free of charge, only for running bugungisi. It ends when you delete what you posted, or your account, except for what the Privacy policy says stays (for example, your messages in other people’s chats).
You also let the people who can see your postcard save a copy of it to their phone. When you tag a companion on a postcard on the feed, you let them repost it to their own companions.
Post only what you have the right to post.
Reports, blocks and removal
You can report a postcard, a comment, a profile or a chat message from inside the app, and you can block anyone. A real person reads every report, and acts when a rule was broken. We may remove content, or end an account, that breaks these terms or the House rules. If your postcard is removed, the app tells you. Questions or appeals: support@bugungisi.com.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Delete account, or by writing to us. The Delete your account page says what goes and what stays. We may end an account that breaks the rules again and again, or once for something seriously harmful.
Maps
On Android, the map in bugungisi is Google Maps, and Google’s own rules apply to it. In Google’s words, your use of it is subject to the current versions of the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. On iPhone, the map is Apple Maps.
The app as it is
We work to keep bugungisi running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always work, or never lose anything. Save any photo that matters to you with Save to Photos. bugungisi is offered as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, or from not being able to use it.
Changes
We may change these terms. If we change them in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. If you keep using bugungisi after that, the new terms apply to you.
App Store and Google Play
If you got bugungisi from the App Store or Google Play, their own terms apply to the download as well.
